

She was originally from Guneku, Cameroon, and moved to the United States in 2017. Ma Mado as she was fondly known, lived a life not so long in years, but was extremely rich in purpose and impact. Ma Magdo lived a life of complete devotion to God and service to family and every community that she finds herself.
Ma Mado was an inevitable pillar in the family and community. She was an exceptionally loving mother, grandmother, prayer warrior, peacemaker, compassionate caregiver, community development activist, etc. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love touched countless lives. Her memory will remain a guiding light to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ma Mado is preceded in death by her Parents, Philip Ngwa Esai and Rebecca Nyoh, and other family members and relatives.
Ma Mado is survived by her children: Franklin Ngwa, Michael Ngwanah, and Clodette Ngwanah, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, a large extended family, and friends who loved and will miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held from 11AM - 1PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven on February 15, 2025.
Funeral services for Magdaline will begin at 1PM following the visitation in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville KY 40218.
Magdaline will be buried at her family Cemetery in Cameroon.
