Mana Jo Smith

She was born to Orville and Joy Wohlschlegel on December 20,1955, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Preceding Mana in death are her parents.

She is survived by her life partner Mike Smith, her daughter Erica Bayens (Eric) grandchildren Damon and Blake Bayens, brother Orville Ray Wohlschlegel Jr ( Kathy ), niece Loretta Meyer, a special aunt (Linda Douglas) and many Loving family members and friends.

Mana was an administrative assistant for KMI. From there, Mana moved on to work as a secretary/ legal assistant for Hammer and Associates, which was very rewarding and Mana gained her multiple skills and knowledge within the legal system. She then retired but continued to work as a bookkeeper and secretary for Cas Air Co.

She enjoyed horse racing, going to the race track, riding saddlebreds, discovering new places to eat and cooking. In her younger years she owned her very own saddlebred horse.

A visitation will be held for Mana at Arch L.Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home. 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on Sunday December 10, 2023 from 3pm to 8 pm. Mana will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
