Marco Eldridge Record, 96, of Louisville, Ky. rejoined his lifelong love Edna Mae Record on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at Norton Pavilion. A triple bonze star recipient as a member of the 1st Cavalry, Marco was involved during his long life with various community organizations, including Boy Scouts, Cabbage Patch Orphanage, and Dare To Care. He was a member of Shawnee Christian Church and a former member of Douglas Blvd., Kenwood, and Bethany Christian Churches. Marco was preceded in death by Edna Mae, as well as their son Dennis Michael and grandson Christopher. He is survived by sons Glenn Patrick (Jodi), Christopher (Sheila), Richard (Gail), and Roy Record; daughters Ann Llamas and Carra Stewart; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. A celebration of Mr. Record’s life will be held at 10 AM Saturday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
