MARGARET VIRGINIA WOOD CRANFILL (SHARP), 84, passed from this life on November 20, 2013. A native of Shelbyville, KY, she was a former employee of Arch L. Heady & Son and a longtime member of Walnut Street Baptist Church She was preceded in death by her parents, Ann (Walker) and C. J. Sharp; her first husband, Charles C. Wood and second husband William E. Cranfill (former Sheriff of Jefferson County). Jenny was the youngest of seven children, Emery, Paul, Blanton, Hallie, and Ann all deceased. She is survived by her children, Shira Wood Meyung (Jim) of Cincinnati, OH and Charles C. Wood Jr.; grandmother to Kimberly Sander (Jeff) and Emily Wood; great-grandmother to Olivia and Brett Sharp, Jake and Joslin Meyung, and Taylor, Tucker, Tessie and Torri Wood; and her sister, Charlotte Kittle. A service to celebrate Jenny's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Walnut Street Baptist Church, 1101 S. 3rd St., with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
