Born in Morgan County, Alabama to the late John and Flo Wade, Margaret was a former Administrative Assistant for the old Hammond Manufacturing, was a member of the old Southside Baptist Church (now Highview Baptist Church – Southside Campus) and was a longtime member of South Park Country Club.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, George Jennings; sisters, Jane Crook and Doris Baird; and brother, Jimmy Wade. Survivors include her children Doug Jennings (Janey), Chris Jennings (Julie), and Jill Caple (Brent); her twin sister Alice Schaffner; four grandchildren, Buffie Holbrook (Matt), Cortney Labar (Kyle), Clay Caple (Jennifer), and Emily Nicholson (Curry); 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Her funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday.
