Margaret Spicer Maum 85, of Crescent Hill, made her journey home on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, while surrounded by her children. She was born March 25, 1927 to the late; Debbie Dean and Noah Spicer, in Harlan County, KY. She is retired from Jewish Hospital, and spent many years doing volunteer service with Jewish Hospital, John Kenyon Eye Center, and United Crescent Hill Ministries. She was a former member of Jacobs Chapel U. M. C. , and was a member of Crescent Hill United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Eugene Maum, and brother Eugene Spicer.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Sheila Baker ( Melvin), and Gayle Wagner (Bill), and her son; Tony Glore. Her four grandchildren, 3 great-grandsons. Her sister; Pauline Winstead, and many extended family members.
Visitation will be 3-7 pm Friday, and after 11 am Saturday.
Services to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. with interment at Cave Hill Cemetery.
