Margarett Eola Amos Jones was born October 3, 1930 to Eola Lee (Daniels) and Will Henry Amos in Leland, Mississippi. She left her earthly home to join her loved ones in Glory on August 3, 2020.

Margarett was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age while living in Mississippi. She was baptized again at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Louisville KY with her daughter.

Margarett is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Jones; seven brothers, Robert, Leo, Granville, Will Henry Jr, Taylor, and Cleveland Amos; sisters, Rosie Billingsley, Sara Bynum, Lula B. Amos, and Willie Mae McDaniels.

To forever cherish fond memories she leaves her daughter, Dee Martin (Carter); son, Leroy P. Jones Jr; sister, Beatrice Rivera of Chicago, IL, and a brother, Herman Amos (Kitty) of Tennessee. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews.

The Private Inurnment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
