Margie Nell “Nana” Cummins, 80, of South Louisville was born on October 12, 1936 in Metcalf County Kentucky to the late Elzie and Violet (Morgan) Jessie and passed from this life on February 17, 2017. Mrs. Cummins was a retired supervisor for the Hazelwood Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Cummins; sister and brother in-laws, Marie Jolly (Richard), Dusty Stevens (Steve), and Ruth Thompson (Woody). Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lisa Fleck (Gary); a son, Michael Cummins; a sister, Liz Cochran (Lynn); a brother, Junior Jessie (Cora Emma); grandchildren, Dakota Fleck, Robert Cummins, and Melissa Willen (Lee); and was “Nana” to many others. Mrs. Cummins is resting at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with visitation on Sunday from 3-8 pm. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10 am Monday with burial to follow in the Smith Cemetery in Sulphur Well, KY, (Metcalf County) at 1:00 pm CST.
