Born to the late Alvin and Stella Kingrey, Margie is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Giesecke; her daughter Linda Giesecke; and her siblings, Christina Harry, Kathleen Belcher, Paul Kingrey and Mitchell Kingrey.
Here to carry on her memory are her daughters, Paula Patterson and Debra Carlile; her grandchildren, Jonathan Patterson (Melody), Randall Bland, William Bland (Brittney), and Logan Carlile; her six great-grandchildren; and her sister Emma Carter.
Margie worked for Forth Street Auto and retired after fifty years of hard work. Margie was very family oriented and loved to take care of her family.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY, 40218. A funeral service in Margie's honor will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the funeral home. Margie will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Walnut Street Baptist Church or the Dementia Foundation.
