Margy L Schultz

Margy Lynn (Shreve) Schultz of Louisville passed away on Friday, July 17th at the age of 93. She graduated in 1950 from Ahrens Trade High School in Louisville, Kentucky. She worked for Shillito’s, Shillito-Rike's, and Lazarus. She retired from Rodes Men’s Clothing store in Oxmoor Mall. She was a member of Lyndon Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Asa Elmore Shreve, Sr. and Lillian Naomi (Crutcher) Shreve; and her husband of 66 years Eugene David Schultz. She was also preceded in death by her brother Asa Elmore Shreve, Jr. (Nancy) Rodham Kenner Shreve (Roma Lee), sister Lillian Rose (Shreve) Sandridge (Donald).

She is survived by her son David Andrew Schultz (Karen); 2 grandchildren, Brian Edward and Christopher David Schultz; sisters, Carole Strange (Jerry) and Judith Borders (Charles); sister-in-law Norma Schultz Saunders (Doug) and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the Arch L. Heady & Son - Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40222. The funeral service will follow, starting at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place in Floydsburg Cemetery, 5600 Old Floydsburg Rd, Crestwood, Kentucky 40014.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Margy’s honor may be made to the American Heart Association or Hosparus Health.
