Mrs. Phillips was a retired employee of the University of Louisville where she worked in the Purchasing Department. She also served as the former President of PMAL. Marie had a love for traveling and in recent years was able to complete her goal of visiting all 50 states.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Phillips.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Paul Phillips (Cheryl) and Roger Phillips (Ann); grandchildren, Pamela (Jeremy), Nicholas, Emily (Jacob), and Michael (Nicole); great-grandchildren, Logan, Aaron, Oliver and Finley.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, 10:00 am at the Dignity Memorial Chapel of Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday at the funeral home from 3-7pm.
