Hi Gayle,
I reread the comments and looked at the pictures.  I am sorry I did not have the pleasure of knowing your Mom.  She certainly lives on in everyone's memories.
My favorite two pictures is the PRSSA one and the one where the bear is watching her open a Christmas present.

Mother loved Hawaii. Every time she had a chance to go she had her bag packed.

Mother was a vibrant and fun loving woman her whole life. These are some photographs that illustrate the fun she make life for others.

Every time I think of Leigh I can't help but smile. Her eyes twinkled and she charmed everyone.   She was so full of energy and life and she had such a good sense of humor.  Know that you and your family are in our prayers and we are always here for you.

I have known Marie and considered her a friend since I attended UK Law School with Tim over 30 years ago.  She, Tim and Gayle graciously invited me to stay at their home where I always felt welcome.  She was always kind, considerate and a wonderful cook.  Her Derby pie was the best, sorry Kerns. I will miss Marie but I know she lived a good life and left behind great children and a legacy of kindness.  To the family I extend my condolences and say that I will always remember Marie fondly.

Gayle - I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope fond memories will be of some help in coping with such a loss.  Your Mom must have been so comforted to have had you make the time to be with her so much the last few years.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Leigh during the 11 years that I worked with her son Tim.  She was a sweet lady and will be sadly missed.  My sincere condolences to Tim and his family during this sad and difficult time.
