MARION O. "MO," 88, passed away Monday December 17, 2012.
Mo was born to the late James Herman and Oda Belle Hansford Reed on August 02, 1924 in Nicholasville, KY. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, a retired managing editor for the Masonic Home Paper, member of Jeffersontown Baptist Church, a deacon and a Sunday school teacher. Mo was also a 67-year member of Boaz Masonic Home # 850, F.&A.M. and a member of the Scottish Rite and a 33rd Degree Mason.
Left to carry on his memory are wife, Jane; children, Steve Sr. and Ann Pachini (Bob); four grandchildren, Bryan (Angie), Robbie (Miranda) and Jason Pachini, and Stephen Reed Jr. (Candice); three great grandchildren; and his brother, Charles H. Reed.
A service to celebrate the life of Mo will be 10 a.m. Friday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment at Resthaven Memorial Park.
