

He attended and graduated from Male High School, Purdue University, and the University of Louisville Dental School. He practiced dentistry in downtown Louisville for over 50 years. During this time, he also managed and worked the 300-acre family farm in Southern Indiana raising beef cattle, cutting hay and planting crops.
He was a proud veteran and served in the U.S. Army in 1951 to 1953; and U.S. Army Reserves until 1959.
Dr. Mark was active in the following Indiana organizations, the Floyd County Humane Society, The Floyd County Zoning Commission, the Floyd County Zoning appeals board, and the Floyd County Library Board.
In Louisville, he was a member of the Kentucky Dental Association and the Filson Club.
He enjoyed many activities and hobbies during his long life, including antiquing, Indian relic hunting, reading, woodworking, researching genealogy, fishing, sailing on his sailboat, horseback riding, riding motorcycles, riding 4-wheelers, and traveling. He and his wife Sara enjoyed their many trips to Ft. Myers Beach and Bonita Springs Florida where they made many dear friends. He truly enjoyed working and relaxing on his farm.
Dr. Mark will be remembered for his desire to treat all people equally, his vast knowledge of numerous subjects due to his extensive reading, his sense of humor, and his love for his family.
He is survived by his sons Mark (Marcia), Stephen (Linda), John (Tammy) his grandsons Luke (Detra), Matt (Brooke)and Jackson (Alexis), and his great grandchildren, Miles, Olivia, and Danielle.
He was predeceased by his parents Marcus and Mary Randall, brothers Hugh and Richard Randall and his beloved wife Sara Randall.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday December 12th at 2:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home on Bardstown Rd. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.
