Mark Edward Thompson, also known as “Mr. Fantastic”, age 60, passed away on July 11, 2026. He was born on October 15, 1965, to Charles Edward Thompson and Carrie Parsons Thompson in Louisville, Kentucky. Mark loved music and sports, especially the Steelers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Gregory Thompson and his wife Tracey; his nieces and nephew, Kara Thompson, Haley Thompson, and Grant Thompson; and all his friends at Sunshine Acres.
Cremation has been entrusted to Evergreen Funeral Home and there are no formal services scheduled. He will be laid to rest nearby his parents at Evergreen Cemetery.
