He was employed by Zenith Logistics as a truck driver for Kroger, a Marine Corps veteran, and a huge fan of UofK sports.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, James Vessels and brother, Tim Vessels.
He is survived by his children, Kandy Vessels, Marlie Vessels, Mark Vessels, Maggie Vessels, Kara Vessels, and Kayla Vessels; his mother, Candy Vessels; 7 grandchildren, Allen, Abel, Gianna, Jordyn, Jaydon, Hunter and Kendall; and a sister, Lisa Kurtz.
His funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, July 10 at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday, July 9. Interment will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
