She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jim; her daughter, Mishael Witty (Robert); and two granddaughters, Amanda and Julie. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Armina Robison.
Marlene was a nationally recognized elementary teacher specializing in mathematics and science. She was a member of the NEA, JCTA and the NCTM. She enjoyed singing, especially making up her own songs up until the very end. She was a true pet lover and always had a pet, no matter what.
Visitation for Marlene will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. Visitation will continue Tuesday, June 3 from 9:00 AM until time of the service. Her funeral will occur a 11:00 AM Tuesday with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
