Martha Jane Bischof, 95, of Louisville, passed away September 27, 2019. She was a retired bookkeeper for Holy Family Catholic Church, where she had been a longtime member. She later became a member of the former Iona Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Bischof Sr.; grandchildren, Lonnie Still and Michelle Newman; great-grandchildren, Molly Bischof and Mariah Cummins; and her 11 older Lanning siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Audrey Newman(Harry), Vincent “Boots” Bischof Jr.(Wendy), Joe Bischof, Barbara Ewan, and Michael Ray Bischof(Peggy); 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10am Monday, September 30, 2019 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8pm Sunday. Memorial donations in Martha’s memory can be made to Cedar Lake or Trisomy18 Foundation.
