Martha had worked with the students of JCPS and later as a customer service representative with Koch Filter.
Martha was an avid gardener with an amazing green thumb; She also never turned away any animal in need; always feeding the stray cats or taking in a dog needing a home. She loved animals, especially her chickens.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Rachael Chandler (David); her grandbabies, Eric and Kyler. Also surviving are her sisters Helen, Mary and Rita along with her nieces, Liz and Sarah, her nephew James; Ex-husband, Dean Cecil and her best friend Kim.
Cremation has been entrusted to Heady Hardy Funeral Home. A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday at St Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive, Louisville Kentucky 40216.
