Martha Gootee, 89, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Gootee, Jr; brothers Mike, Billy, and Donnie.
Survivors include her children Donna Pitcock (Richard), Sharon Welch, Teresa Ernst, Joseph Gootee, III, Denise Rains (Gary), Barbara Newton (Ronnie), Mardee Cook (Pete); 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be at 9:30 AM Friday at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. 6th Street. Burial Calvary Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 3-8 P.M. at OD White & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2727 S. 3rd St.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
