Martha Lois Wright, 92, of London, formerly of Louisville passed away April 6, 2012 at Laurel Heights Nursing Home in London. She was born on July 21, 1919 to the late A.T. Wilkinson and Lelia Johnson. She was a member of First Baptist Church in London and was a longtime member of Highview Baptist Church. She was very involved within her church teaching Sunday School, various mission groups and was a school teacher.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Wright.
She is survived by her children, Jerry Wright (Sheri) and Karen Wright; grandchildren, Melody Abner (Jason) and Kristi Jo Wright; and one great-grandson, Jaxon Abner
A celebration of her life will be conducted Monday, April 9, 2012 at Noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10-12 on Monday at the funeral home.
