She was a retired employee of the old American Bank Stationery Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest H. Young and a son, Danny Young.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne Young, Larry Young (Peggy), Rick Young, Jerry Young, Rodney Young, and Scott Young (Deann); sisters-in-law, Katie Newton and Eula Young; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; and a dear friend, Marion Shaw.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday.
