He was born in Louisville on February 16, 1961 to Milbern and Anna Louise Southard Cornett. His father preceded him in death in 1998.
Mr. Cornett worked as a long-haul truck driver and handyman, and loved bluegrass and country music. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Anna Louise Cornett; his sister, Rebecca Elkins (Charles), and by several family members and friends.
His funeral service will be held Saturday at Noon in the chapel at Evergreen Funeral Home located at 4623 Preston Highway. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Evergreen Funeral Home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
