Marvin, 80, passed away Sunday January 6, 2013 at Baptist Hospital East.
Marvin retired after 42 years of service at Gateway Press.
His wife, Rose Ann; and son, Christopher Carter precede him in death.
Left to carry on his memory are daughter, Vicki Shepard (David); grandchildren, Stacie Statam (Kevin), Amanda Desmond (Tyler), Christopher M., Patrick and Nicholas Carter; and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held noon Friday at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Arch L. Heady at Resthaven is in charge of arrangements.
