

Mary Lewis Baldwin, 78, entered into rest on December 15, 2021. She was born in Gainesboro, Tennessee and was raised in Cookeville, Tennessee. She retired from the Louisville City Fire Department Headquarters. Mary was a loving Christian, best friend to many, and a true confidant. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Mama. She was caring and always made people around her smile. Mary enjoyed playing the piano or listening to her favorite musicians.
Mary was met at the gates of heaven by her parents, Frazier and Zelma Moss, and her siblings James Moss, Margaret Tarpley, Mildred Neal and Robert Moss.
She is survived by her daughter Lori Asher (Sam), her grandchildren Lana Ayari (Wael), Seth Asher, and Great Granddaughter Lyla.
Mary also leaves behind two sisters Mattie Sue Evins, and Rebecca Cantrell, and many beloved family members along with lifelong friends.
Funeral Service for Mary will be held on Monday December 27th at 12:30 pm at Heady Hardy Funeral Home with a committal service at Resthaven Memorial Park. The visitation will be Sunday from 1:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
