Mary Lou Bischof

Mary Lou Bischof, age 95 of Louisville, KY, passed away on Sunday May 1, 2022. She was born in St. Louis, MO and moved to Louisville as a young girl with her parents. She was a former preschool teacher at St. Andrew UCC, Trinity Presbyterian Church, Christ Lutheran Church and a charter member of St. Andrew United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alma and Carl Baitinger and husband, George Kenneth Bischof. To carry on her memories are her children; Judy Wheat (Kenneth), David Bischof (Karen), George K. Bischof II (Jane), Richard Bischof, grandchildren, Carrie Morgeson (Randy), Amy Korfhage (Eric), Laura Bischof Philpot (Matt), Kyle Bischof (Amanda), Daniel Bischof, Michael Bischof, and 10 great grandchildren.

Her artistic touch will be missed by all that knew her. We would like to thank the staff both past and present at The Springs at Stony Brook for their compassionate care and companionship for our mom and Hosparus Health for their support.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4th from 4-7 PM and on Thursday, May 5th 10-11 AM at, St. Andrew United Church of Christ, 2608 Browns Lane, Louisville, KY 40220.

A service to honor her life will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the church.

Mary Lou will be laid to rest privately in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
