She is preceded in death by her husband, Bryce Bishop, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Bishop (Sue), grandchildren, Jane and Jiffy Bishop, sister, Ruth Steppe and her loyal Miniature Poodle Lilly.
A celebration of Mary Helen’s life will be conducted at 2pm on Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 11:30am Saturday until service time at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the KY Humane Society.
