Mary Catherine Shely Pusey Eberhart

Mary Catherine Shely Pusey Eberhart, of Louisville passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at Episcopal Church Home. She was a retired nurse’s aide with the Old Children’s Hospital. She was born on March 25, 1922 in Greenschapel, Kentucky to the late Oscar Townson Shely and Lillian Mae Snider. She was a member of Audubon Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher in the nursery department for 16 years.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands, George W. Pusey and Carl A. Eberhart; a son, Samuel Anthom Pusey; two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her son, Lloyd G. Pusey (Linda); step-son, Kenneth S. Eberhart; step-daughters, Mary R. Allgeier and Jean E. Diemer; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be conducted Tuesday August 2, 2011 at Noon in the chapel at Arch L. Heady-Russman, 1201 East Oak Street with burial to follow in High View Cemetery in Chaplin, Kentucky. Visitation will be Monday from noon-8 at the funeral home.
