Mary "Dolores" Collins

She was preceded in death by, her parents; David W. Gittings and Ruth (Bennett) Gittings; her husband, Eugene “Gene” Collins; her son, David Collins; her son-in-law, Larry Bauder; and her sister, Edna Vittitow.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Bauder; her daughter-in-law, Heather Collins; her grandchildren; John (Fawn) Collins, Matthew Bauder, Ashley Collins, Easter Collins, Tripp Collins, and Zachary Collins, and her sister, Linda Couch.

Dolores spent many years serving as President of the Clifton Heights Community Council and she was a longtime member of the St. Leonard’s Parish. She was a wonderful friend and will be missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th, 2026, at the Arch L. Heady – Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky 40206, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

Mass will take place on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 440 Zorn Ave, Louisville, Kentucky 40206, starting at 10:00am. There will be another hour of visitation at the church, one hour prior to the mass, starting at 9:00am.

Burial will occur on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, following the mass, at Cave Hill Cemetery & Arboretum, 701 Baxter Ave, Louisville, Kentucky 40204.
