Mary Ann Day

Mary Ann Day, 84, of Louisville passed away on Saturday November 20, 2021. She was born on January 18, 1937 in Louisville to the late Charles Edmond Day and Frances Julia (Thurman) Day. Miss Day was retired from the Paper Cone Corp. and a Catholic by faith, having attended Holy Name and Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church’s. Left to cherish her memory are her nephew, Steve Showalter; nieces, Vicki Wade and Carol Lasley; a cousin Gene Thurman (Mary Catherine); a good friend, Lela Smith; great nephews, Jacob Showalter and Patrick Wade; and a great niece, Jenna McCulloch. Funeral services for Miss Day will be held at 10 am on Wednesday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery where she will be buried next to her parents.
