She was born in Barren County, Kentucky on January 23, 1931 to Floyd and Ada Bennett Neal, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James; and by her sons, James E. and Danny Edwards.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her daughter, Viola Stine (Douglas); son, Rickey Edwards; brothers Charles Wesley Neal (Mary) and Jerry Neal (Vicki); sisters Brenda Houk (Steve) and Geneva Johnson; and by 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She worked and retired from Louisville Ladder after nearly 40 years of service. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Her celebration of life service will be held in the chapel of the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment at Resthaven Cemetery.
