Mrs. Fitzner was a graduate of Henry County High School. During this time she did missionary work in the surrounding communities. She attended Spencerian College (Sullivan College), earning an Associates Degree in Accounting. She was employed by Jellico Chemical Company as an Office Manager before retiring after 25 years. Later, she re-entered the workforce at Diversiforms as Office Manager before retiring after six years.
Mary Louise was a lifelong example to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, of grace, humility and compassion. She put others before herself but most importantly she was the source of unimaginable amounts of unconditional love. Lou loved music, dancing and was an avid reader. She loved adventure and had a green thumb for growing vegetables and had a passion for her flower garden. She was also quite the handyman!
The family would like to thank Sanders Ridge Health Campus and Hosparus for their exceptional and compassionate care during the last year of her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donna Dimmitt (Don), Bill Fitzner (Tina); grandchildren, Jennifer Fitzner, Chad Dimmitt (Sunny), Nick Ramsey (Lenna), Carrie Morgan (Jimmy), Lauren Dimmitt (Shance), Christian Schwindel (Jake), Michael Fitzner (Nichole); great-grandchildren, Hannah, Chase, Andrew, Aiden, Hunter, Liliana, Mason, Taylor, Austin, Luke, Conner, Margot, Eden, Willow, Holly and Gavin and her sister, Mary Joines (Jimmy).
