She was the former Paige Poteet and a native of Morehead, KY. She was a teacher for JCPS, with over 23 years in the education field. Paige absolutely loved the students she taught but family was her greatest love. She enjoyed gardening, decorating, baking, boating, riding motorcycles and spending time with her family. She would give you the shirt off her back and was always generous to anyone who needed help.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jennifer Rose and Justin Slade Garmon; parents, Jim and Rosemary Poteet; former husband and best friend, Guy Garmon; siblings, Susanne, Valerie, Sarah, and Jamie Poteet; step-son, Phillip (Kristie) Garmon and step-grandchildren, Shyanne and Dalton Garmon.
A Life Celebration will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday from noon till 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
