She was a member of Ascension Catholic Parish in Louisville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman & Agnes Stemm husband John Frederick Gettelfinger, siblings (Bud Stemm, Dorothy Baker, Bea Yates, Jimmy Stemm) and long time friend Thomas Head.
She is survived by her children, Gary Gettelfinger and Portia Dubach; grandchildren Lara Peyton (Travis), Andrea Harvey, Melita Dubach (Greg) and Jeremy Dubach (Lily); and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jane Soergel (Joe).
A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be held at Ascension Catholic Parish on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 10am. Entombment will be private at a later date.
