Mrs. Hughes had retired as a security guard for the Louisville Free Public Library and was a native of Covington, TN.
She was preceded in rest by her husband, George Hughes, and brother, James S. McIntosh.
Mrs. Hughes is survived by two sons, Steve and Roger Hughes; a brother, Charles McIntosh; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 10th, at 2 PM at the Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Kentucky Humane Society.
