Mary “Jean” Lyle, 79, of Shepherdsville, passed away December 19. Born in Franklin Kentucky to the late Clarence and Bertha Ann Taylor, Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville, Lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and was retired from AT&T after 34 years of service. She loved growing flowers and spending time with her grandsons.
Jean is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Lyle, to whom she was married for 58 wonderful years, and her daughter Gina Lyle Beasley and two grandsons, Alex and Kyle Beasley.
Jean was preceded in death by her brother William G. Taylor and a sister Bertha Hayes Lillard.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be at 12am Monday December 23, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville, 254 S. Buckman St., 40165. Visitation will be from 2-8pm Sunday December 22 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville, food pantry.
