McGinnis, Mary Jane 93, passed away July 26, 2013. Mary Jane was a faithful member of Walters Clement A.M.E. Zion Church where she served as a deaconess, pianist and a missionary. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John William McGinnis, daughter Lt. Commander Mary Elizabeth McGinnis and great grandson Dante Mucker. Mary Jane left behind to cherish her memory her children Johnetta Mucker (Ron), Thomas W. McGinnis Sr. (Angela), Joyce Smyzer-McGinnis, Gale C. Scott, James R. McGinnis and Charles "Ted" McGinnis, 22 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Rosa Lee Ward and my more loving family members and dear friends. A service honoring the life of Mary Jane will be held Friday at 1pm at Walters Clements A.M.E. Zion Church 4641 E. Indian Trail Louisville, KY. Visitation will start prior to funeral at 9:30am-1pm. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the church.
