Mary Hester Whelan Moss born at Payneville in Meade County, Kentucky, on April 3, 1918, died March 1, 2011 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of Anna Josephine Hardesty and William Henry Whelan. She was preceded in death by her husband Selbit W. Moss. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Gwendolyn Moss; two sons, Philip Walton Moss and Stephen Michael Moss; four grandchildren, Nicola (Heather) Masciandaro, Anna (Stuart) Walker, Ryan Leslie Moss and Philip Michael Moss.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Saturday March 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Friday at the funeral home.
