Mary Ann Ridge

Mary Ann Ridge, born on April 30th, 1958, to Joseph and Mary Keefe; died September 30, 2021, surrounded by her family here and reunited with her daughter Jennifer who preceded her in death. She is survived by her family: husband Matt, children Alan, Greg, Rebecca, Alan’s wife Lana, grandchildren Maggie, Martin, Danielle, Eliza, Stephen, and Joey, siblings Kathy, Cindy, and Butch. She was a beloved wife, mom, Mimi, NanNan, sister, aunt, friend, and nurse.

She left a beautiful legacy of faith to cling to Jesus when the rough storms of life come. The fabulous Footprint Fairy served families and babies while they were in the NICU at Norton downtown for over 20 years. Her love of children and Jesus was evident at Highland Baptist and Broadway Baptist. She actively served her community through these churches. Her desire to honor the Lord and help others was also evident as she lovingly cared for others at Highland Community Ministries Daycare, home health care, and hospice care.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to donate to Kosair Charities (kosair.org/donate designate Tribute Gift In memory of Mary Ann Ridge), take care of a loved one, serve your community, mentor someone, care for someone who needs you, and glorify God in all that you do.

Visitation is Thursday, October 7th from 3-8pm at Arch L. Heady Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Celebration of life service at Broadway Baptist on Friday, October 8th at 11:00am.
