Mary Lea Salchli

Mary Lea Salchli, age 88 passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. She was born November 18, 1934, the daughter of Blake and Mattie Rensel. Mary worked as a sales associate for Kohl's for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, William Carl Salchli, and one brother, Blake Rensel.

She is survived by her daughters Denise (Steve) Orberson and Gail (Jeff) Packer Hobday, grandchildren: Jennifer (Stephen) Scoggan, Chelsey (Hunter) Hogan, Mike (Cayci) Packer, Nathan (Ashley) Packer, 10 great grandchildren, one sister, Marjorie (Ed) Hammond, one brother, Jack (Joselea) Rensel, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218).

A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St Bernard Catholic Church, (7500 Tangelo Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40228).

A graveside service will occur Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park, (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218).
