She is preceded in passing by her parents, Kenneth and Irene Bartlett. She is survived by her adoring husband of 62 years, William “Bill” Chapman; her brother Harold Bartlett (Chere); two nieces and one nephew; and countless friends.
Mary was a life-long member of Highview Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star for 50+ years. She loved to crochet, tend to her garden, and add to her rock collection, gathering a new rock to add on every trip she would take. Mary and her husband loved spending quality time together and creating new memories. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
A visitation will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, from 3:00 pm -7:00 pm. A funeral service in Mary’s honor will follow Friday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Highview Baptist Church.
