She is preceded in death by her parents, Vertrum and Maxine Davis.
Mary is survived by her husband of 29 years, Mike Valuska; children, Michael Huffman (Helen), Doug Huffman (Sheri), Tina Finley (Paul) and Leah Valuska; and siblings, Roy Alton Davis (Bonnie) and Sandy Simpson (Mike). Mary is also survived by her grandchildren, Peyton, Ainsley, Damian, Hallie and Stella.
A celebration of Mary's life will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. the day of the service.
