Mary was a secretary for the Kansas Life Insurance Co. A member of First Christian Church on US 42 Brownsboro RD.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Marvin L. Von Almen in 1992 after 57 years of marriage.
She is survived by her three children; William Arthur Von Almen (Jennifer ) of Louisville, Beverly Jean Bell (Lee) of Virginia and Robert Lewis Von Almen (Brenda) of Louisville; also one brother, William Lippold of Florida; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be noon on Tuesday at The Arch L Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Monday.
