She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was preceded by her husband, Charles Wathen.
She is survived by her children, Wayne Wathen (Norma), Sue Shade (Joe), Judy Vogt (Jerry), Marvin Wathen (Lolly) and Jean Wathen; sisters, Irma Hardesty, Amelia Curl, and Margaret Miley; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 9245 Rhodelia Road, Paynesville, KY, followed by burial at St. Theresa Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy.
