

She was born in Mt. Vernon, Indiana on November 18, 1931, to the late Daisy Denham Murphy and Lawrence Murphy.
Mary graduated from Jeffersonville High School, was a Registered Nurse, held a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Antioch University New England, and established private practices focusing on marriage/relationship counseling in Manchester, Connecticut, New Albany, Indiana, and Louisville. She published her book “Infidelity: Discovery to Recovery, First Aid Manual for the Betrayed Partner.”
Mary was married to her soulmate, Colonel Kenneth L. Weber, USAF (Retired). An active military wife, she volunteered with the Family Services organization, the Red Cross, and many social committees.
Mary is survived by her husband; their five children, Sharon Weber, Steven Weber (Teri), Eric Weber (Teresa), Bob Weber (Nancy) and Maria Worthington (Steven); nine grandchildren, Haley, Scott, Alexandra, Charles, Lauren, Allison, Derek, Justin, and Hunter; three great-grandchildren, Tristan, Addilynn, and Travis, Jr.; and two sisters,Patricia Wright and Carol Comer.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be conducted Monday, October 14th, with visitation from 11-2 and Chapel Service at 2, Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Arthritis Foundation.
