Matt was a self taught artist whose spur of the moment creative and poetic ability was shown through his sketches, poems and paintings. He was also a hands on craftsman who loved working on cars and bikes and could fix anything that was broken. He loved life, he was adventurous and a dare devil. Most of all he was known for his big heart and sensitivity and someone who always gave to others. He did countless events volunteering his time at Kosair Children's Hospital. Every aspect that made Matt who he was lead him to be a amazing tattoo artist at The Hornet Nest Elite Art Studio and a wonderful husband, father, son and friend.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Michael Petrosky and Clyde Hall; and step grandfathers, Jim McClure and Roscoe Hamilton.
Left to carry on his memory are wife and expectant mother, Janelle; children, Christian, Selena, Christopher and Izabella Petrosky; parents, Sabrina Hamilton (Pat) and Paul Petrosky (Linda); brothers, Michael Petrosky (Emily) and Billy Noel ( Susan Eady); grandmothers, Kathryn McClure, Betty Hall and Mary Petrosky; step grandmother, Judy Hamilton. Also there are so many other family and friends who loved Matt dearly with all their heart. A service celebrating the life of Matt will be 10 am Friday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Baby Taos Fund at any Louisville PNC branch location.
