Maudie Lee McClure-Hamilton

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Thomas Crain, her first love and hus...band, Lucian A. McClure; brothers, Lonzie Crain, Luther Crain, Houston Crain and William Crain; a granddaughter, Sherry Thomas-Brown and great granddaughter, Jessie Love McClure.

Survivors include her second husband, William John Hamilton; brother Daniel Crain and Sister, Nellie Williams; children, Barbara Enix (David), Doris Thomas (Richard), and Brenda Ballard (James); 5 grandchildren, DJ McClure (Rick), Samantha Diehl, Richard Thomas (Jeanie), Teresa Druin, Erin Mortensen (Sean) ;12 great-grandchildren, Robert Watson, Tony Watson, Troy Walters Jr., Austin Walters, Savannah Diehl, Richard Thomas Jr., Steve Thomas, Robert Druin (Tiffany), Ray Druin, Donavan Mortensen, Ashley Brown and Tina Brown and 2 great great grandchildren, Malory Druin and Aiden Druin.

Maudie was a member in good standing of the New Covenant Church of God.

Maudie fought the good fight against Alzheimer's Disease.

She was strong and faithful to the very end and we were honored to be in her presence.

She will be eulogized at Evergreen Funeral Home on Preston in Louisville, KY Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 12:00 pm.
