She was an University of Louisville graduate in Political Science and received her Master's degree from George Washington University in International Politics. Following her education she worked as Director of Annual Giving at the University of Louisville. Maureen's pride and joy was raising her children and being a loving wife. She traveled around the world with her beloved friends and family, though the ocean was always her favorite place to be.
Maureen is preceded in death by her father Thomas Barry and husband Nabil Jamaldin.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sophia Jamaldin, son, Sharif Jamaldin, mother, Mary Barry, sister, Theresa Barry-Greb, sister, Kim Keeling, sister, Diane Barry Leroux, and nine nieces and nephews.
Maureen will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
