Always enjoyed going to Aunt Mellie’s house. 

My heart aches that no one told us of this..I can remember friday night and saturday nights with Papaw and Mamaw , Mom and Dad(Smitty/Bill) listening to them play music, and sing. I miss them all so much. I am so very sorry we did not know of this. Love Dottie (aka Dorothy) Ferguson Coones

I can remember weekends at your house as a child,dancing for all the family, cloring contest and good ole family gatherings in your back yard. You were one of the strongest ladies I've ever met.  Love and Miss You!

Everyone that knew Aunt Mellie will miss her. She lived a long and healthy life and had such a sharp mind. I know she is having a grand time seeing all the one who went before her and have waited so long to see her. Rest in Peace Aunt Mellie you deserve it.
