He was a mechanic and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 3rd Ward, Crestwood, KY.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Sandra Graham Ponto; his son, Michael Ponto II; a sister, Nina "Nikki" Anne Ponto-Cowgill (John), the mother of his son, Jennifer Starkey; two nieces, Christen Lea and Trisha May Cole.
His Celebration of Life Service will be noon on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Sunday.
